ROWEN BRIDLER
Rowen Bridler is a British actress, originally from Bristol, who has previously lived in Prague, Paris,
New York, Manchester and now resides in London.
Her acting training comprises one-to-one classes with RADA alum Jan Chappell and City Lit
classes in London, actors and writers workshops in Prague and New York and a term with ActUp
North in Manchester. During lockdowns of 2020-2022 she also took online classes with a group
based in Los Angeles, under the tuition of Taylor Nichols.
While living in Prague, Rowen acted in German in a Danish TV film directed by Ole Bornedal and
devised and filmed the music video for her song, ‘Lifeboat’ which was played on BBC 6 Music.
In Manchester, Rowen wrote and performed her own drama monologues, wrote and directed a
short film in French and English for the Los Angeles based WAFL film festival and played the role
of Veronica in a new four-person play exploring themes of bereavement, LGBTQ+ rights and family
ties at Hope Mill Theatre.
She also played the lead in Blue Monday, a short film set in the 1980s
based on the theme of mental health provision in the UK. The film was screened at Cannes Indie
Shorts Awards and won her a Best Actress nomination from the Feel the Reel international film
festival.
Rowen is also an aviation enthusiast both in helicopter (R22) and fixed wing (Piper) flight as well
as her other aerial-related pursuit of aerial silks which she’s done regularly since 2022.
